A Day Trip to The Garden of Morning Calm and Edelweis Swiss Theme Park

I have always love flowers since I was a little girl. They make me fall in love everyday. I think that is one of the reasons why I love spring so much.  Having flowers around me makes me feel like I am enchanted by fairies. Seeing them gives me joy, and even when I am sick, I feel healthy.

Last year, I saw a picture taken at The Garden of Morning Calm. I found the picture so beautiful. I really wanted to go there, but it was a little late when I saw the picture. Spring was almost over. This year my wish was granted. We were able to book a trip with a Korean tour agency. I was very happy. I couldn't wait to see the flowers and the beautiful landscape. The place was far from where we live. It took us more then 5 hours to get there. But for me, it was all worth it. The place was really beautiful. It looked like a paradise. There were various kinds of flowers everywhere.

Though photographs can't justify the real beauty we have seen, I would like to share some of the photographs I have taken.

This one is my favorite. It is located near the entrance.

The Garden of Morning Calm was  conceptualized by Professor Han Sang-kyung. It was opened in May, 1996. It is the oldest private garden in Korea.
